Citizen Men`s BL5250-02L Eco-Drive Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Watch is a worth having and the price tag on it is reasonable. At first sight, I would have given this watch a five star mainly because the band and bezel have an outstanding shine. The dials on the watch are dark grey and the face is deep blue along with the shiny bezel this BL5250-02L is one of a kind. The first time I wore it I felt the leather band not up to expectation and it was extra shiny however, with time it got better. The combination of the titanium case, leather and dark blue face really look remarkable from a distance.

The bezel`s shine will depend on the lighting which makes it resemble cheap chrome. However, this is not bad and all depends on the amount and angle of lighting when it reflects upon the watch. I had a huge concern after going through a few reviews that mentioned the thickness of the watch but after purchase, it was just in the same category with other watches I have owned. Another thing I noted was that the titanium was lighter. In my case I prefer a watch with a little bit of weight to it but I will settle with this drawback on this brand.

I would expect the dials to spin more on a chronometer but then I have little knowledge about chronometers. The BL5250-02L dials do not spin more the second hand is the main timer, keeping track of the minutes is the smaller dial. In addition, the fractions of a second in0.2 seconds increments occur when a button is pushed. Another thing that puzzled me was when at first I set up the watch and there was no response I thought the dial was broken. However, all that I had to do was to give it a full charge. The manual does not really give all the small details like this but after reading many reviews one gets a few hints and tricks on how to get the hang of things. 

Alarm, chronometer, perpetual calendar and solar power are some of the many combinations the BL5250-02L Eco-Drive has as well as being great features. Unlike many Amazon purchases I have made in the past this time around, I decided to buy this watch from a local dealer and had it delivered in less than 24 hours.

After some time with the BL5250-02L I still did not like the look of the brown leather bands that come with the watch so I went ahead and bought a new set from Amazon. Which where 20mm black Kevlar bands and, cost me about twenty-three dollars. After the change the BL5250-02L really looks like a new different watch and I have received some good complaints about it.
