Razor Power Wing Caster Scooter (Sweet Pea) unlike skateboards, these casterboards are more maneuverable and exhilarating, but are less exhilarating at skate parks. With a curved, deck on top of another Soularc Skateboards have a springy feel to them. When compared to Power Wings, Flow boards have seven wheels in both front and the rear to give you that snowboard feel. Whereas Long boards are, the longer and wider skateboards.

RipStiks are different from skateboards mainly noted with having two small decks connected by a crossbar. In addition, they have two inline caster wheels, which enable them to make 3600 turns. These also have a safer feel to them than skateboards because unlike skateboards they do not easily shoot out from under you. The wheels tend to wear out quickly but they are still fun to use on the streets as compared to skateboards. Wave Board casters are hard to take apart but Ripstiks are much easier giving them that up hand between the two. Ripstiks come with metal crossbars that enable you to do grinds on them.

Wave Boards are more like Ripstiks if not the same but they have shorter crossbars. They are also famous for making a strange noise when used but not so with Ripstiks. Wave Ripples are small sized making them suitable for younger kids. There are also a few numbers of boards, which are similar to the Ripstiks/Waves, and these are namely EssBoards, X-Boards, ExBoards, Cudas, Freeriders and eXtreme boards respectively.

WhipTides are also much similar to Ripstiks but they have four line caster wheels. The crossbars are more distinguished from RipStiks due to their up-down and side-to-side design they have. With WhipTides, one cannot perform jumps or even lift one wheel off the ground and they have a small wiggle when going fast. You will need to be more aggressive with Ripstiks because they do not wiggle. However, my son prefers the wiggle motion because it assists him to move with less effort to it. There are two more boards, which share the same similarities as the WhipTides, and these are Alive Boards and Shred Sleds.

Xgliders also known as Xliders are difficulty to learn and you can lose you balance as well. This is due to the two separate and unattached caster board decks they have. Nevertheless, they also tend to handle well when doing tricks and getting around tight turns better than WhipTides, RipStiks and Waves.

PowerWings come with better safety features unlike RipStiks. PowerWings have two caster wheels on the rear and one wheel up front for that much needed stability and thoughtfully fitted with working brakes. With PowerWings you can do hip side to side movements while facing forward and this is different with casterboards where you need to face sideways. You can easily lean far too back and flip over, but other PowerWings have rear safety bars to prevent this. PowerWings are appropriate for kids due to their safety features and are a bit easy to use as well.
