Samsung PN50C7000 50-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV (Black) (Electronics)

I had a Telefunken television set that I had planned to replace for some time now. I looked around online for a replacement and Samsung PN50C7000 50-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV Black Electronics fit the bill perfectly. Not only was it in my price range the details and color where marvelous. I knew I made the right choice for purchasing this television and with all the other great looking models out there one needs to be careful not to fall for the looks,

With a few things I wanted to test on this new television, I plugged in my XBOX and tested out Blu ray movies and everything was just perfect. I like the fact that no blurring occurs when playing action packed movies as compared to some LCD have that issue. Currently, I am not that well informed on how it matches up to other high-end Plasma HDTVs but I can safely say that the black levels on this set are impressive. Another great feature about this 7000 series is that it comes with numerous adjustable features.

Furthermore, one has the ability to connect to the internet using the internet feature. Using the LAN port on the 7000 series, you are able to access all internet goodies and videos load without any lagging occurring. In addition, you have the USB feature to plug in external devices and other equipment. With a external drive loaded with movies I am now able to plug it in and view them in HDTV.

With every good thing, they must be a flaw that comes with it and the 7000 series has one, which I noticed from the very first time. The 7000 series makes some kind of buzzing noise that comes within the screen or speakers it is hard to really point out the exact source but it is audible when one reduces the volume. I came to learn later that this is a common issue with Samsung televisions and I am just unfortunate to have it on such a beautiful set. What I am guessing is maybe because of the thin display. Another issue is with the sound quality not a big issue if you have a home theater set up or some sound booster. Lastly, be sure to avoid pausing a lot because the image tends to distort after a few minutes especially on a bright screen or high definition channels. These plasma screens do not handle that well in that area even with the new models.

In conclusion, Samsung PN50C7000 50-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV Black Electronics is a good plasma HDTV set and I am pleased with it.
