I have never owned an impressive player like the VIZIO VBR200W Full HD Blu-Ray Player with VIZIO Internet Apps (VIA). It has been a couple of months now since I purchased this player and I enjoy every moment I spend using it. Just like any good product out there, the VIZIO VBR200W comes with some pros and cons. Here is a quick look at these pros and cons.

Looking at the pros, the VIZIO VBR200W is easy to set up, a walk in the park. The player comes with a Pandora feature. I chose a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi, which tends to drop. I have ATT Uverse and they gave me for free the ethernet plug ins that turn your interior electric cable into a wired connection. Also, when you stream Pandora you do not have commercials like you do on the computer. The VIZIO VBR200W has Netflix streaming an amazing feature; the picture quality is the same as your standard analogue television station. The good thing also, is that it is all free, all the movies you can watch. When looking at the sound quality on the VIZIO VBR200W it is impressive especially on movies.

It forced me to place the amp on Auto Level Control that is how powerful the sound is. It works by transmitting the signal in PCM format to my Pioneer VSX 1019. Comparing this to a regular DVD the sound on the VIZIO VBR200W is an improvement. The picture quality is Blu-Ray, one can set the player to HDMI Auto and it will automatically give you the best picture quality and aspect ratio mainly based on the disc. One is capable of choosing a resolution that suites you, but I tend to go for the default pick. VIZIO VBR200W user interface is easy to use and grasp.

The cons on the player are no HDMI cables provided as advertised on Amazon. The batteries are not working when you receive the player. You are restricted to the default remote when you are maneuvering through the Pandora feature, so the Logitech Harmony Universal remote will not work here. I hope that Logitech will have a fix for this soon.

In conclusion, VIZIO VBR200W Full HD Blu-Ray Player with VIZIO Internet Apps (VIA) is an amazing player and I am getting my moneys worth.
