Viore PLC7V95 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV with Built-in Tuner is a great portable device. When I look back at my old kitchen, bathtub and camping portable television sets, I had a Casio LC 2.5 inch set. It was a nicely built and strong small television. When the digital era came along I kept my expectations neutral. When I got the Viore PLC7V95 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV with built-in Tuner, I the brand simply impressed me.

First thing, the whole Viore PLC7V95 outer look is more than pleasing to the eye. This television set really looks vulnerable, so I tend to be extra cautious when handling it. I might be a little too much but I feel it does have the same sturdy feel as the Casio brand I owned. The Viore is also lightweight than the Casio, this gives it a portable feel. The included antenna reception is very finicky, but I sort-of knew to expect that. The volume level on the Viore PLC7V95 is reasonable. For the remote control to function properly one needs to point at the television correctly.  Amazingly, the Viore is capable to detect and display format for digital Standard Definition versus digital High Definition. In addition, it comes with the expected aspect button settings.

The Viore PLC7V95 7-Inch has a better picture quality than the Casio brand; this is something I always wanted on a portable set. I have managed to watch only sitcoms and reruns not been able to watch Discovery channels or National Football League channel with it (so I would not know how the picture quality would be like). I did an experimental conversion of a DVD of one of the television episodes. I changed it to avi, and then placed it on an SD card, and it played smoothly. When it comes to the battery life, it has a reasonable running time which around an estimate of ninety minutes. The Viore also comes with a fake program guide, a nice addition, makes it look fancy.

In conclusion, the manual is not helpful at all, be warned. I checked on the Viore website and I could not find this television set listed anywhere. The Viore PLC7V95 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV with Built-in Tuner is reasonable purchase; I enjoy using it more like a toy than a television.
